2008 - NEPO was first founded and formally registered as a legal entity under the Companies Act, of 2008.
2009 – Smart View Tablet - NEPO invented a rugged mobile point of sales tablet for small and informal traders, the first of its own kind back in 2009.
2011 – Ezak Mobi APP – NEPO successfully developed and delivered a mobile and web based Point of Sales APP, a version derived from the Smart View’s Point of sales concept of 2009.
2019 – Token Hunt APP - NEPO developed the first digital currency for trade and sales conversion_ for the Malls, Shopping Centers, FMCG, Retail etc. The first commercial sales was recorded in 2021 during the COVID-19 era.
2025 – Slash Tag APP – NEPO successfully completed the development of Slash Tag Data Analytics Search Engine for TV, Radio and Billboard advertisements etc.
2025 - NEPO changed its name from "NEPO Information Technology and Systems (Pty) Ltd" to "NEPO TECHNOLOGY GROUP (Pty) Ltd"
